JOB SUMMARY:
This role will provide hands-on experience in business process analysis and manufacturing systems. The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams to observe operations, support process documentation, and assist in identifying opportunities for improvement.
This role is ideal for a student interested in how manufacturing operations function end-to-end and how systems like ERP support those processes.
· This is a full-time internship position with a duration of 10 weeks, Monday – Friday.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Observe and learn manufacturing workflows across departments
· Assist in mapping basic process flows (inputs, activities, outputs)
· Support documentation of current processes, work instructions, and job aids
· Help identify handoffs, decision points, and areas for improvement
· Collaborate with team members to gather information and understand workflows
· Assist with organizing and maintaining process documentation in shared systems
· Support a final project focused on process improvement or documentation
Tools:
· Microsoft Word, Excel
· SharePoint (nice to have)
· Visio or other diagramming tools (nice to have)
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Detail-oriented with an interest in how processes work
· Willingness to learn and ask questions
· Ability to organize information clearly and logically
Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field (Junior or Senior preferred)

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, and heights. When participating in activities on the shop floor, the noise level in the work environment is typical for a fabrication shop and ear plugs may be used as necessary.
