Relocation assistance is being offered for this role
- Develop and maintain 3D assembly models for skid-mounted systems and industrial assemblies
- Manage product releases, revision control, and engineering change processes
- Prepare engineering packages and coordinate with third-party engineering firms
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to ensure manufacturable and production-ready designs
- Lead layout integration of structural, electrical, conduit, piping, and mechanical components
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation, specifications, drawings, and bills of materials
- Lead technical reviews and resolve design-related issues prior to release
- Lead technical support during production, first article builds, and field issue resolution
- Drive new product introduction and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with MXS design standards, drafting standards, and applicable codes (create or modify internal standards as needed)
- 5+ years of mechanical or multi-discipline engineering experience preferred
- Experience with skid-mounted systems, industrial equipment, or power conversion systems strongly preferred
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial product environments preferred
- Experience with engineering release and revision control processes
- Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, will consider SolidWorks or similar CAD platforms on a case-by-case basis
- Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawing standards
- Expertise with industrial equipment integration and multi-disciplinary assemblies
- Expertise in design-for-manufacturing principles
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Civil Engineering, or related engineering discipline required
